Rampant welcomes three new faces!
Luke Styke, Jake Pengelley and Toby Price are the latest dirt bike racers to join the growing stable of riders for Rampant Clothing.
After a successful title win in 2009 Styke has gone up a class to the Prolites and will contest the outdoor and Super X Series in 2010.
"Yeah I haven't stopped really, I trained all over the Christmas break and I'm ready to roll, I just want to get on the bike and go as quick as I can really."
"I was after some personal sponsors this year and Rampant just fitted perfectly with what was after in a label, no BS from these guys, awesome gear, really different to whats out there, so yeah, I'm pumped as to be with them." Styke said.
Another pre-season signing is Jake Pengelley. Jake is back on the bike after a disspointing 2009 and is fitter and riding faster than ever.
"I've had a solid start to the year and looking forward to repping my new wardrobe from Rampant".

"I was down the coast with Jemma Wilson and we stopped by to visit Erin, as we are leaving I'm thinking sweet, I have a new clothing sponsor. It all just fell into place and I couldn't be happier really. The new hats coming out in a few weeks are awesome, real different."

BE YOUR OWN HERO!

We have released our answer to this crazy 'Follow the Leader' mentality out there in Australia.
I am contstantly seeing brands here is Oz trying to sell a story via their range or slogan, to either be this so called bad ass or to justify your existence? Justify your existence? What the hell for? You should'nt have to justify anything let alone yourself to anyone from where I sit, that be just crazy talk.
Then you have this obsession with guns and gangstas on tees these days by Oz brands? It would be fair to say for the majority of folks who by this product; they would'nt have the slightest notion of what a gangsta is or know the front from the back end of a firearm! What's the go with wanting to be so gangsta in Australia? Look, I may well be alienating our brand by taking this stand, but I'll stay true to what Rampant is and don't intend to change my tack just to sell to the masses. We won't be drawn into producing pointless accessories that mean nothing and say even less. Air freshners? What th?
Hence the reason for our "BE YOUR OWN HERO" tee, it says it all really, follow no one but yourself, believe in yourself. Lead, don't follow. Don't be strung out on yourself, being your own hero isn't about being arrogant or taking people down, it's the opposite in fact.
You can get it online at: www.rampantriders.com available for guys and the sistas!
